International numbers now supported in various WCM apps

ITS has implemented updates to support international phone numbers across the following apps: 

• WCM Directory (directory.weill.cornell.edu) 
• MARIA (iam.weill.cornell.edu/maria) 
• myAccount (identity.weill.cornell.edu) 
• Microsoft Office O365 (pulls data from your directory profile)

Previously, these applications only supported US phone numbers, but this enhancement will provide a more seamless experience for our global user base. 

How to update your info 

If you have an international phone number, you can now input it into your directory profile by simply typing it into the appropriate field. Once inserted, you’ll notice a new country flag feature appear, indicating that the number has been recognized as an international number: 

With this new feature, you can:  

• Ensure your contact information is up to date in your directory profile, which will be synched with our backend database used with important apps, like Everbridge for emergency communications. 
• Include international contact information for new or existing affiliates in MARIA.
