New security patch for Apple devices

Apple released security patches to address multiple vulnerabilities recently detected that can exploit Apple devices and install malware without interaction from users.

ITS recommends updating your affected Apple devices immediately.

What do you need to do?

If you have an affected Apple device, install the patch using these instructions:

Note for updating your macOS

  1. When you open Software Update, if you are offered to Upgrade to Sonoma you do not necessarily need to do that. You may see an option: “Other updates are available. Click on More Info…” to update the security patches only.
