We improved the way we manage your Mac

ITS has made some recent enhancements to JAMF, the tool we use to manage your tagged Mac. 

Here are the new enhancements we’d like you to know about:

1. You no longer need to be connected to the VPN to download apps from the WCM App Store. As long as you’re connected to the internet, you can download whatever you need.
   
   
2. The apps you download from the WCM App Store will install faster.
3. We can push essential security updates to your computer. ITS can now check your computer for security compliance, and push any essential security updates, keeping your Mac protected and up-to-date.

4. We added notifications to the WCM App Store. When you launch the WCM App Store, you’ll be notified if new applications or updates to the apps you use are available in the new Notifications menu.
