Join us to learn more about TriNetX, a global data network with de-identified patient data available to WCM researchers. We’ll walk through the types of data sets available, how to request a TriNetX account, and the various levels of access available to WCM researchers, including our new Research Network access.

ITS is pleased to introduce Microsoft Loop, a new app to organize everything you do at WCM! Loop is a unique workspace where you can brainstorm, take notes, manage projects, create wikis, and combine all related files from other Microsoft apps in one convenient location. You can either keep your workspaces private, or share content with your colleagues with real-time collaboration in not just Loop, but synched across several Microsoft apps.

Microsoft Loop

Learn about Microsoft Loop, a new app available to WCM faculty, staff, and students. Loop is a unique workspace where you can brainstorm, take notes, manage projects, create wikis, and combine related files from other Microsoft apps in one convenient location. Plus, share all or just parts of your workspaces with colleagues, with real-time synched editing across Loop, Outlook, Teams, and other O365 apps. 

ITS has just released a new tier of access to TriNetX, a global research data network with de-identified patient data for research. The TriNetX Research Network expands your access to patient data beyond WCM.  

Need to send an important email, but you're not going to be in the office? Schedule your emails in Microsoft Outlook! Before you hit send, you can manage the date and time your email will be sent to your intended recipient.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is reporting an increase in gift card phishing scams that people are receiving around the country. Using email or text message, the scammers will pose as someone in authority asking their employees to purchase gift cards on their behalf, resulting in financial loss. 

ITS is asking all WCM staff to be on alert for similar phishing attempts. Scammers may pose as your supervisor, department administrator, directors, and even C-suite level members and deans.
