Microsoft Visio

WCM faculty, staff, and students can access Microsoft Visio for free in their O365 accounts. Learn how you can transform complicated text and tables into visual diagrams that communicate information at a glance. During this demonstration, we’ll cover how to access Visio and create diagrams – like organization charts, network diagrams, and workflows.

Securing Internet of Things (IoT) Devices

Smart doorbells, smart thermometers, smart refrigerators, smart toothbrushes – the number of everyday items with Internet connectivity has exploded. While these products can make life more convenient, it’s important that users are equally smart about safeguarding their data.  

Generative artificial intelligence (AI) tools like ChatGPT and Google Bard have made headlines since their introduction for things like managing your stock portfolio, building software in minutes, and for just being downright creepy:

Add Scoring to Qualtrics Surveys

Need to add numerical values to your survey to measure your data? Learn how to achieve this in Qualtrics! The scoring feature is ideal for things like quizzes and measuring scales you can define in a study.

Please note that while everyone is encouraged to join, this session assumes that attendees have basic knowledge of how to create surveys in Qualtrics.  

On Tuesday, Oct. 10, ITS will implement new email security features that will help you better identify suspicious or malicious emails received from outside of Weill Cornell Medicine and make it possible to report these messages to ITS from any email client, including Apple Mail.    

When you receive an email from an external sender, you will see one of the following tags at the top of the message:
