There are several tools available to help you access Weill Cornell Medicine applications and resources, keep in touch with your colleagues, and access your files in the event you need to work off-campus. ITS has created a one-page checklist for first time remote workers to make sure you can quickly handle all the essentials.

As concerns continue to rise over the spread of COVID-19, hackers are taking advantage of people’s fears to extract confidential information from victims. Several phishing scams of scammers posing as authoritative sources – like the CDC or WHO – have been identified by security organizations around the country. Here’s one recent example:

Last October, Barbara Garrett, our SAP Basis manager (SAP is the system that runs the Weill Business Gateway), celebrated her 44th anniversary at WCM, making her the longest-serving college employee in ITS. We sat down with Barbara to learn more about her time here and how WCM and technology have changed since she started in 1975.
