In November 2017, Columbia, Weill Cornell Medicine, and NewYork-Presbyterian signed a contract with Epic to create a single integrated electronic health record (EHR) across the three institutions, with the goal of making it easier for physicians and clinical staff across the organizations to deliver outstanding patient care.

Starting July 2, the Wood Library may not be the quietest place to work as the next phase of the Feil Family Student Center renovation is set to begin. The 16,200-square-foot Feil Family Student Center, housed in renovated space on the first and second floors of the main campus buildings on York Avenue, will offer a place for classrooms, meetings, quiet study and informal gatherings to bring students together in the heart of the institution.  Construction will commence on a new block of study rooms in what is now a corridor facing the front of the hospital.

What is i2b2?

Informatics for Integrating Biology and the Bedside (i2b2) allows faculty, staff, and students to determine how many patients meet a given set of clinical criteria using de-identified electronic health record (EHR) data. Data sources include Epic, Allscripts/Eclipsys, Eagle, and the NYP Tumor Registry. All data are de-identified.

On June 12th at 8:30 a.m. the primary WCM institutional website weill.cornell.edu will be relaunched.

Websites that are hosted directly under the current main institutional website (e.g. weill.cornell.edu/unitname, but not unitname.weill.cornell.edu) will be redirected automatically to a new URL.

What can I find using the Web Directory?

ITS has worked with Verizon to improve our cell phone coverage around campus with a new distributed antenna system. Currently, Verizon Wireless customers should notice much better signal in both the Belfer Research Building and Weill Greenberg Center, with improved signal to come to other areas on campus.
