Copilot Chat is used for interacting with Microsoft Copilot, an AI-powered assistant that helps you with various tasks and queries. When you’re connected to the internet, you can use the desktop version or online version of Copilot Chat to get assistance, find information, and complete tasks. This is our preferred AI Chatbot for work use cases and uses the OpenAI ChatGPT engine, but does not train the model.

  • iOS 10.0 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

How do I get started with Copilot Chat?

To use Copilot, visit copilot.cloud.microsoft and sign in with your CWID and password to access the protected version. You can view our step-by-step guide in myHelpdesk on how to use Copilot, as well as our FAQ for query ideas. Copilot is currently accessible in your internet browser (with full features available in Microsoft Edge), as well as iOS and Android mobile apps. If you have any issues accessing Copilot, please note it may take up to 24 hours for the application to officially enroll your WCM account.   

Is my data secure when using Copilot Chat?

Yes, your data is secure. Microsoft employs robust security measures to ensure that your information is protected while using Copilot Chat. 

Can I use Copilot Chat to interact with other Microsoft services?

At this time, Copilot Chat is not integrated with any other Microsoft applications in our Office 365 environment. While ITS is exploring this option, you can still have Copilot review any data you input into your browser and analyze any Microsoft documents you have open in Edge.
