The Samuel J. Wood Library currently holds licenses to over 35 scientific software products that can assist you with your research at Weill Cornell Medicine. To help you explore and gain access to these programs, we’ve recently launched the Scientific Software Hub.

On October 10 at 10 p.m., we’re improving our login experience so you don’t have to sign in as often. When you sign into any WCM website that uses Web Login, you will have the option to choose a Session Duration. This allows you to select among 15 minutes (the current duration), 30 minutes, one hour, four hours, and eight hours.

ITS is hosting another Transcribathon on Thursday, October 5! Volunteers help us access scans of original, handwritten medical records from the 19th century, and transcribe and edit them in Word documents. Designated event coordinators will be on hand to answer questions and provide guidance on how the transcriptions should be formatted.
