The Weill Research Gateway (WRG) was recently upgraded to include enhancements to our Sponsored Programs (SP) module. You’ll notice some minor changes to forms in the proposal, such as the Universal Questionnaire or the MTA Questionnaire, as well as additional questions added to our Forms E package. These were made to comply with regulations made by the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

Cornell University recently changed its contract with Adobe, which has affected our offerings on Weill Cornell Medicine’s OnTheHub website for personal software purchases. Cornell is currently working with Adobe on new terms and is hoping to have a resolution soon.

Apple has identified a vulnerability within OS X High Sierra that allows unauthorized users access to a computer without inputting a password. This issue was already mitigated on all ITS managed Mac devices.

What do you need to do?

Verify that you are using OS X High Sierra: Click the Apple menu, select About This Mac, and confirm that it lists High Sierra. If it does not, you do not need to take any further action; all other versions of OS X are not affected.

The Samuel J. Wood Library celebrated the opening of its 27th Medical Complex and 12th Virtual Complex Art Show with a reception on Wednesday, November 1. This year, 67 artists submitted a record number of 172 pieces of photography, paintings, sculptures, and other media. The artists represented the WCM community and its affiliates, with a high level of participation from WCM physicians and students from the class of 2021.
