On May 15, ITS will implement changes to our mobile device password policy to comply with new passcode standards from Apple and Android. These changes will require you to update the passcode on your tagged mobile device.

What do you need to do?

If your device already meets the standards described below, you do not need to take any action. However, we recommend verifying the following:

Effective April 14, our ITS Security team will begin introducing special tags to your email subject lines to help you identify email sent to you from outside of the institution. This can help you more easily filter messages and identify potential spam. 

How it works

When you receive an email from an address that is not from WCM, you will see a tag marking the email as “External” in the subject line:

Fun Fact: The Library is doing its part by saving WCM 1,568kWh/year on electricity. We revamped the lighting in the library's front room to an automated system since last year.

The Weill Cornell Medicine Unpower Hour is the official kick-off of our year-long energy savings plan. For the tenth year in a row, Weill Cornell faculty, students, and staff will power down for one hour on Thursday, March 22, from 2 p.m. – 3 p.m.
