ITS is asking the WCM community to be vigilant about a potential surge of new cybersecurity attacks targeting staff at various organizations, including healthcare organizations. A group of hackers known as Scattered Spider have been using social engineering techniques to gain access to sensitive information across multiple companies in the US. What is the difference between Microsoft Copilot Chat and the full version that integrates with work data?

The full version that integrates with work data, Microsoft 365 Copilot, offers additional capabilities by leveraging the Microsoft Graph API. This integration allows for deeper interaction with other Microsoft services and applications, providing more comprehensive data analysis, advanced collaboration features, and enhanced automation capabilities. The full version is designed for more complex and integrated use cases within the Microsoft ecosystem
Can I customize the responses from Copilot Chat?
While you can't customize the responses directly, Copilot Chat learns from your interactions to provide more personalized and relevant assistance over time.

At this time, Copilot Chat is not integrated with any other Microsoft applications in our Office 365 environment. While ITS is exploring this option, you can still have Copilot review any data you input into your browser and analyze any Microsoft documents you have open in Edge.

How do I get started with Copilot Chat?
To use Copilot, visit copilot.cloud.microsoft and sign in with your CWID and password to access the protected version. You can view our step-by-step guide in myHelpdesk on how to use Copilot, as well as our FAQ for query ideas. Copilot is currently accessible in your internet browser (with full features available in Microsoft Edge), as well as iOS and Android mobile apps. If you have any issues accessing Copilot, please note it may take up to 24 hours for the application to officially enroll your WCM account.

NIH Public Access Policy Guidance

Starting July 1, 2025, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) will implement its new Public Access Policy for manuscripts accepted for publication. Manuscripts must be submitted to PubMed Central upon acceptance for publication, for public availability without embargo upon the official date of publication.
