The issue is: there is no package. It’s a scam.

A package delivery scam usually starts with a text message that looks like it’s from UPS, FedEx or USPS. The text might say “there’s an issue with your package” or “you missed a delivery.” Then it will include a link where you can provide missing information.

As with any unexpected text or email: don’t click the link!

You may have noticed that there are areas on the WCM campus where your cell phone signal weakens, like the lower levels of the Belfer Research Building. While ITS does not offer a supported service that enhances cellular signal, there is a system in place called Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) that helps boost cellular signals throughout campus for customers with Verizon.

Even with the help of DAS, however, you might still encounter cellular “dead zones.” Additionally, if you use AT&T, T-Mobile, or another alternative carrier, DAS won’t boost your signal.

ITS is pleased to release PrinterLogic, a new cloud printing solution that allows WCM users to print from any tagged printer on campus. Available for managed Windows and Mac devices, PrinterLogic securely connects faculty and staff to network printers in your location to print your documents.

What do I do if a printer is not appearing in the PrinterLogic app?

There are three common reasons why a printer may not be appearing in the app:

  1. The printer is not managed (aka tagged) by ITS.
  2. The printer is new and has not yet been mapped to the WCMC network. You can make a connect request on myHelpdesk.
  3. You have an existing desktop printer that was not included in the PrinterLogic app due to privacy concerns. If your printer needs to be added to the app, you can submit a request through myHelpdesk.

What’s the difference between PrinterLogic and PaperCut?

PaperCut is a printing service used exclusively by WCM students.
