On Thursday, Mar. 27, from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m., ITS will be implementing changes to the annual High-Risk Data Attestation required to be completed by WCM faculty, staff, and students. All WCM employees are required to complete the attestation annually (upon their anniversary date) at attest.weill.cornell.edu.  

Please note that you may not see the changes mentioned below until the following day while the implementation is finalized.

On May 25, the NIH is requiring researchers to use the Science Experts Network Curriculum Vitae (SciENcv) to create and maintain biosketches submitted with grant applications and annual reports.  

If you’re unfamiliar with SciENcv or need a refresher, join us for this session to learn more the NIH guidelines pertaining to this and understand how the tool works.

When Nivedita Chang was completing her Masters in Public Health at Columbia, she was asked to pull a lab value from a chart for her work at a small HIV clinic. The value was hidden, the handwriting was illegible, even the physical bulk of the paper charts was unweildy. At the same time, she was learning a program called Prism, and knew that electronic health records would make the task of extracting data from medical records infinitely better.
