What is i2b2?
Informatics for Integrating Biology and the Bedside (i2b2) enables faculty, staff, and students to query de-identified data from Weill Cornell Medicine’s Epic electronic health record (EHR) system to determine counts of patients meeting certain criteria.

i2b2 now contains data through mid-February 2016 for:

The Samuel J. Wood Library is pleased to announce a free, new editing service for WCM grant applicants. As a pilot program with limited capacity, we are concentrating on the following prioritized grant categories:
1. Resubmissions of Scored But Not Funded grant applications
2. Junior faculty writing their first R01 grant, including GRASP participants
3. Junior faculty career award
4. Limited submission grants (for institutional nominees only)
5. Sections of large collaborative awards – for example, the introduction for a P01

Welcome to this edition of Inside ITS! Inside ITS keeps users informed about technology services available at Weill Cornell.
SMARTFest attracts unprecedented 1,100+ visits
ITS has more than 1,100 visits during our 3rd Annual SMARTFest on Tuesday, February 23. Throughout the day, attendees were able to visit various booths in the Samuel J. Wood Library to learn about the different technologies and services offered on campus, ask questions, and see some on-the-spot demonstrations.

A new wave of ransomware (malicious software that encrypts files for ransom) is being reported in the news and other users in our community. These particular instances of ransomware trick Windows users into either applying fake software updates (e.g. Adobe) or enabling features in products like Microsoft Office.
How much storage is available?
Each SharePoint site comes with 5 GB of space for documents. If you require more, that can be configured into your site for an additional fee. Our SharePoint developers will confirm this with you during your initial consultation.
Can I connect my team calendar in SharePoint to my Outlook calendar?
Yes. If you would like to keep track of important dates and events listed in your SharePoint calendar, you can import them into your personal Outlook account.

Can I edit documents within SharePoint?
Yes. SharePoint is ideal for version control to allow multiple users to edit a document and save the latest version online.
You can edit documents in a Microsoft application (e.g., Word, Excel, etc.) or within your browser.
