Keturah Young is a 15-year veteran of managing how ITS runs behind the scenes. And while she’s the go-to administrative assistant for many people in the department, Keturah’s resourcefulness has evolved into other skills to find even more ways to help her colleagues.

Keturah, tell us a little about your role in ITS.

I am an admin support, and support up to 16 people in ITS senior leadership. I help with meetings, supplies, onboarding and offboarding, taking care of the suite… my hands are in a lot of stuff.

Starting July 1, 2026, WCM is introducing a soft quota on the amount of free storage offered to students, faculty, and staff. This will allow ITS to moderate and encourage thoughtful use of cloud storage and manage the rate of growth of cloud storage at our organization.

If you only have access to one monitor, how can you share your screen so you can present your slides without attendees seeing your presenter notes? Just look for Zoom’s advanced screen share settings to help you out of this common situation!

A critical security vulnerability affecting multiple devices and operating systems can leave your ITS-managed devices open to exploitation. To avoid this, ITS is rescheduling security patching schedules for several services, and is also recommending that faculty, staff, and students update their devices as soon as possible. 

Due to a critical security vulnerability affecting iOS services, ITS is recommending all iPhone and iPad users update their operating system as soon as possible to secure their devices.
